SIF's Celebration of International Day of Friendship
On Saturday, 27 July 2019, we marked International Day of Friendship which falls on 30 July. More than 100 Citizen Ambassadors and guests joined us to celebrate their support in enabling SIF’s work to build better understanding between Singaporeans and world communities. The evening of networking and reconnecting over dinner culminated in a screening of Oscar winning film, Green Book. Centred around an unlikely friendship being forged between two strangers amidst the backdrop of segregation, the film’s ethos resonated greatly with our aim to build a more inclusive world.
