Our friends found out how Singapore optimises her scarce land resources to meet the diverse needs of its five million residents.
They also took part in a dialogue with Mr Teo Chong Yean, Deputy Director (Projects 2 Department), Conservation and Design Group, Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), Mr Colin Lauw, Corporate Communications, URA and Mr Look Boon Gee, Managing Director, Look Architects Pte Ltd.
This was followed by a guided walk through Punggol Promonade, led by Look Architects to showcase its unique features with an introduction to its historical development and a discussion of the planning policies which shaped its landscape.
