Water for Life, Siem Reap, Cambodia (27-30 Jan 2013)

A shout-out to the nine volunteers who volunteered in our Water for Life project in Siem Reap, Cambodia from 27-30 Jan 2013. Seven of them, who were from the Ministry of National Development, did more than what was required of them. They helped to raise S$2,000 for Water for Cambodia (our partner). They also purchased 500 sets of soap, toothbrushes, toothpastes, detergent, shampoo, and 200 sets of sandals for the local community. (100 sets were given to WFC, the remaining 400 sets and 200 sandals were given to Angkor Hospital for Children). They also shipped over 16kg of clothes which they collected from friends and colleagues here and donated them to Water for Cambodia. Kudos to all of them!Interested to volunteer overseas?
