Water for Life (Siem Reap) Phase 2 Project Launch

The VIPs at the launch experienced first-hand a demonstration of proper handwashing as part of basic hygiene training for school children - one of the two components of the Water for Life project. The other component is the installation of bio-sand water filters.

The Singapore International Volunteers from the Institute of Technical Education striking a pose with Cambodian students after having put up a joint performance on hygiene education. The performance was the highlight of the launch ceremony for the over 300 villagers who had attended.

The SIF reaches another milestone in its 15 year friendship with Cambodia with the launch of the Water for Life (Siem Reap) Phase 2 Project. A strong spirit of mutual cooperation and a deep sense of mutual respect underpin this friendship.
