Mathematics and Science Curriculum Enhancement Project, an Initiative to Raise Teaching Standards of Mathematics and Science in Karnataka / Free Press Journal
The SIF, together with Parikrma Humanity Foundation, successfully concluded the Mathematics and Science Curriculum Enhancement Project in Bangalore on 5 June 2023. The project, which started in 2017, was led by a team of Singapore International Volunteers from the education sector. They worked with Indian teachers from both government and Parikrma schools through a series of workshops, symposia and a study visit to Singapore. To date, the project has benefited over 58,700 educators and students in Karnataka. Hear from Mr Jaryll Chan, Division Director (Programmes), SIF, about how the five-year partnership has contributed to raising teaching standards in the Indian state.
