Sarawak Collaborates with SG Volunteers to Build Capacity Among Teachers through 'MATHS PLUS' / Berita Mediacorp
The SIF, in partnership with Sarawak’s Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD), launched the Mathematics Pedagogical Learning, Understanding and Support (Maths PLUS) project in Sarawak on 17 July 2023. During the four-year collaboration, a team of Singapore International Volunteers, comprising experienced teacher trainers, will work closely with 100 primary school teachers from Kuching, Samarahan and Serian. The project, which is also SIF’s first initiative in East Malaysia, is expected to benefit 80,000 students in Sarawak by 2027.
